Christ Church Cathedral

Christ Church Cathedral was founded c.1030 by Sitric, King of the Dublin Norsemen. It is one of the oldest and most recognizable Dublin landmarks, and has been a place of prayer and pilgrimage for almost 1000 years. The choir, which tours internationally, was founded in 1480 and with the choir of St. Patrick’s Cathedral took part in the first performance of Handel’s Messiah.
