Arguably one of the best reasons for visiting City Hall today is to marvel at the architecture of one of the city’s great buildings. The Rotunda with its twelve columns and fine statues has been beautifully restored. Now that the partitions used here in the 19th century have been removed you can get a proper sense of the dimensions of this impressive building. If you’re a fan of mosaics, murals and marble, then you might be surprised to find such an impressive building as this on your own doorstep!
